RACE TRACK

Racing tracks contain a start gate for up to eight riders and are usually 15-foot (4.6m) wide. Key component of a race track include a start ramp, jumps, berms, rollers and a clear finish line. Professional BMX races are run on a “super-cross” track that have eight metre start hills and a 350m circuit. There are many different obstacles from small rollers to massive doubles and step ups. On the same track you can find pro-sections (straights) with doubles from 6 to 12 metres and “Class” straight that have more flow and a variety of jumps (riders can reach five metres high).
