SAFETY CHECK AT THE TRACK

  • Always walk the track before riding
  • Look out for loose stones, holes and puddles
  • In the autumn look out for leaves, they can be very slippery
  • During winter be careful with wet or frozen berms
  • Check how steep each ramp is before riding
  • Try and watch other riders how they deal with ramps and jumps
  • Start riding slow and increase speed in each lap
